ARTISTIC DIRECTOR MESSAGE

May 2016

Dear Friends,

Fresh off our exciting Season 7, during which we garnered the most glowing reviews in our history, we have just received even more thrilling news that we wanted to share with you.

Nine-time Emmy Award-winning television writer and producer, David Lee, best known for Frasier, Wings and Cheers, has generously offered to match ALL gifts up to $30,000 between now and Labor Day, September 5th!!  Of this tremendous gift, Lee said:

Coyote StageWorks consistently has produced much of the finest live theater in the Valley, but it is a well-kept secret.  I make this matching gift to support their continuing artistic excellence, to draw attention to this wonderful company and to put the community on notice that without their financial support we could lose this precious commodity.”

We’re humbled by David’s support and profoundly grateful to him for believing in us!  But the best way to express our thanks is to rise to the challenge!  I invite you to make a fully tax-deductible contribution now knowing that your gift will be matched dollar for dollar.

Need even more incentive? I’m happy to share with you that Coyote StageWorks will be back at the Annenberg Theater for the 2016/17 season with three productions!  We’ll announce the line-up once all rights have been secured, but suffice to say it’s going to be a fun, laugh-filled season of Legendary Ladies who left their extraordinary mark on the world.  Nobody does comedy better than we do!  Our annual star-studded Gala Benefit will return, as well, with one of Broadway’s best classic comedies…with a female twist.

It is your belief in us, your enthusiastic support, and your passionate commitment that brought us to this point.  You have made this moment, this season and this incredible challenge possible.  Please join me in rising to the challenge that David Lee has put before us and make a generous donation before Labor Day.  Keep Coyote StageWorks moving forward with more award-winning plays and exciting programming for resident and visitors alike.

On behalf of the Board of Directors, thank you so much.  I’ll save you a seat on the aisle!

Gratefully,

Chuck Yates
