The Man Who Came to Dinner - 2014 GalaBy Moss Hart and George S. Kaufman

Last season, Coyote StageWorks’ one-night-only, star-studded benefit of THE WOMEN turned out to be one of the most talked about events of the year. The Annenberg stage was filled with celebrities reading the hysterical words of Clare Boothe Luce’s classic play. The entire evening was a huge success and sold out almost immediately. This year, CSW is at it again with another classic comedy, this time by Kaufman and Hart with a huge roster of stars to delight desert audiences! Stay tuned as we roll out another spectacular cast that is guaranteed to be a night you’ll never forget!

Written by Moss Hart and George S. Kaufman, The Man Who Came to Dinner opened on Broadway 75 years ago and ran for 739 performances, which makes it a perfect fit to celebrate the Palm Springs Art Museum’s 75th Anniversary! It was most recently revived on Broadway in 2000 with Nathan Lane in the role of Sheridan Whiteside.
